A virus is a computer code that multiplies itself when entered into a computer and it starts to destroy your whole computer. When your computer is attacked by a virus, your computer might be at risk. There are types of virus that never harms your PC, but at the same time there are viruses that totally scraps your computer and deletes all your files, this may be a bit frustrating. Then there is a virus which is famously called the 'Shortcut Virus', this doesn't harms your computer but it slows down your computer and creates a lot of shortcuts which is very frustrating.
So lets know how to remove the shortcut virus. There are a lot of methods of removing the shortcut virus, but the most easy and efficient way is using the CMD method. To begin with
1) Open CMD
2) Type in the below giver code
attrib -h -s -r -a / s /d Name_drive:\*.*
4) Now simply replace the Name_drive with the name letter of the drive ( for example if it is C drive the replace the text with C).
5) Now you can access the files and folders which had been effected by the shortcut virus, and you have to just delete the remaining shortcuts of the file and folder permanently.
