Following up on the release of its 8-inch ThinkPad tablet in January, Lenovo has taken the wraps off its new 10-inch tablet, the ThinkPad 10.
While its little brother is primed to compete with the iPad mini, the ThinkPad 10 enters the space currently dominated by the 9.7-inch Apple iPad.
Lenovo hopes to bite a chunk out of Apple's business customers, with
workstation-friendly features such as an optional dock and stylus.

Taking a cue from the company's Yoga line, the 10-inch device can be viewed in several different modes, which Lenovo
terms as tablet, stand, laptop and desktop mode. Inside, the tablet has
4GB of memory, up to 128GB of storage, offers 3G and 4G LTE wireless
capability and has 10 hours of battery life.
Like the ThinkPad 8, the tablet has front- and rear-facing cameras (2
megapixels and 8 megapixels, respectively) and runs on an Intel
quad-core processor. The ThinkPad 10's HD screen is 1,920 x 1,200:
respectable, but still a bit behind the retina displays on the
full-sized iPad and iPad mini with Retina display, both of which boast
2,048 x 1,536 displays.

However, one advantage the ThinkPad 10 does have over the iPad is its ability to dock with the ThinkPad Tablet Dock,
which allows you to connect the device to an external mouse, keyboard
or monitor. There's also an optional digitizer pen for operations that
require a more precise touch.
When we tested out Lenovo's ThinkPad 8 in January, the device — running on Windows 8.1
and using Intel's Atom mobile CPU — felt light and well constructed.
Hopefully, the larger version of the tablet will share the same overall
feel and build quality.
Priced at $599, the ThinkPad 10 is scheduled to roll out to retail sometime in June.
